Make efficient use of existing energies.
Make efficient use of existing energies. That's the principle applied by the sophisticated engines and helpful assistance systems fitted in the new Eos. DynamicDynamism in the new Eos is an experience not to be missed. Thanks to the powerful, consumption-optimised engine with TSI engines and in conjunction with the 6-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, maximum driving dynamics without interruption of the power flow is guaranteed.
| Self-acting"Have you ever forgotten to dip the headlights when you meet a vehicle coming the other way? The optional ""Light Assist"" main beam control system can put an end to this. Using a camera installed behind the windscreen, it can detect oncoming traffic or vehicles driving ahead and use this information to automatically switch between dipped and main beam, depending on the vehicle's own speed. The headlights are dipped in good time, as soon as the oncoming road user has been detected. The system only switches back to the main beam headlights again once the road user has passed and can no longer be dazzled. The result is greater comfort and safety when driving at night time." |
SupportiveWhen manoeuvring into a parking space, the optional ParkPilot in the new Eos warns of any obstacles by way of an acoustic signal. As an option, the distance from the obstacle is also shown on the display of the radio and navigation systems. When the roof is operated, the integrated boot lid assist function provides an optical warning on the multifunction display if there are any obstacles that could cause damage, and halts the procedure.
| RelaxingSit back and let your vehicle do the work – the optional "Park Assist" parking system including ParkPilot in the new Eos can perform multiple-move parking manoeuvres into perpendicular and parallel parking spaces as well as multiple-move manoeuvres out of parallel parking spaces. Suitable parking places are identified automatically as the vehicle drives by, up to a speed of 40 km/h. All you have to do is operate the accelerator, brake and clutch during the parking procedure. |
