| 21/09/2011 - 05/05/2012 I Volkswagen Middle East takes to the road Dubai, 21 September 2011- Volkswagen Middle East in cooperation with its regional dealers, announces their first roadshow which will run for nine months bringing the entire Volkswagen model range to the people in the GCC.
During the roadshow, Volkswagen Middle East and its partners will display a number of their iconic cars and offer test drives in 13 cities in six countries, between September 2011 and May 2012. This ambitious tour will commence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia followed by Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman finishing in the United Arab Emirates. Discussing the roadshow Stefan Mecha, Managing Director Volkswagen Middle East said: “Volkswagen means "the people’s car" and with this first Volkswagen roadshow we want to engage with the public allowing them to gain firsthand experience of our popular models and meet our Volkswagen representatives.”
The events will display the wide range of Volkswagen models including the flagship Touareg, the recently launched all-new Jetta and the iconic Golf GTI and Golf R at selected malls throughout the markets. Passersby are welcome to test drive the vehicles on site at the malls, learn more about the models and the special offers available.

Dubai, 25 March 2012 – Volkswagen Middle East announces the third annual Junior Masters Soccer Tournament Middle East finals, to take place in Dubai on 5th May 2011 (time and venue will be announced shortly).
Teams from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are currently hosting regional qualification matches which will take place until the 12th April 2012. The ten top teams will be invited to play in the finals to be held on the 5th May in Dubai. The winning team is going to participate the Junior World Masters 2012 taking place in Warsaw, Poland from 30 May - 03 June 2012.

The regional tournament is sponsored by a number of supporters who have collaborated to organise this year’s event including the United Arab Emirates Football Association, who has chosen Volkswagen Middle East as its Official Automotive Partner.

Like Volkswagen Middle East, PUMA is dedicated to actively engaging young people in sports emphasising the importance of fitness as part of leading a health life.
The event began in Germany over a decade ago, as part of Volkswagen’s commitment to support youth and sports around the world. The tournament is aimed at boys under the age of 13 and has grown to include 4,700 youth players, 333 teams, and 245 dealers in its home country alone. Today, the tournament takes place in 23 countries worldwide.
